I am posting this to inform you that, as a parent I do not like the fact that the homework assignments are now being posted to the "Parent's Portal" instead of the "Activeboard". The "Parent's Portal", is just that a portal for parents and there is information contained there that we as parents may not necessarily want our students to view/change (contact information).
With the Activeboard you were actively encouraging the students to take responsibility and get their homework themselves. By using the Parents Portal you are doing the opposite, pushing the responsibility back onto the parents and away from the student.
I hope that next week's homework assignment will be returned to the Activeboard.
